1. About Balance
Balance is a personal finance and money-management app designed to help you track your finances, expenses, income, budgets, and financial activity.
Balance is provided for personal and informational purposes only. The app does not provide financial, investment, tax, accounting, legal, or professional advice.
Any financial decisions you make remain entirely your own responsibility. If you require professional advice, please consult a qualified professional.
2. YOUR PRIVACY
Privacy is one of Balance's core principles.
2.1 LOCAL STORAGE
All information you enter into Balance is stored locally on your device.
This may include:
• Transactions
• Accounts
• Budgets
• Notes
• Categories
• Financial records
• App preferences
Balance does not upload this information to servers owned or operated by the developer.
2.2 NO ACCOUNT REQUIRED
You do not need to create an account, provide an email address, submit a phone number, or register personal information to use Balance.
2.3 NO ADVERTISING
Balance does not contain advertising networks or third-party advertising SDKs.
Your financial activity is not used for advertising purposes.
2.4 NO TRACKING
Balance does not use analytics services, behavioural tracking systems, marketing trackers, or similar technologies designed to monitor how you use the app.
2.5 OPTIONAL NETWORK FEATURES
Certain optional features, such as currency conversion, may require an internet connection.
When used, only the information necessary to perform that function is requested. Your financial records, transactions, and personal data are not transmitted as part of these requests.
2.6 ICLOUD BACKUP
If iCloud Backup is enabled on your device, Apple may include Balance data within your device backups.
Any such backups are managed by Apple and governed by Apple's own policies and services.

3. KEEPING YOUR DATA SAFE
Because Balance stores data locally on your device, your information generally remains under your control.
However, the security of your information also depends on the security of your device, Apple account, backups, passcodes, and other services you choose to use.
For your protection, consider:
• Using a device passcode
• Enabling Face ID or Touch ID
• Keeping your device updated
• Protecting your Apple account
• Maintaining regular backups
While Balance is designed with privacy in mind, no software or device can guarantee absolute security.
4. YOUR DATA IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY
You are responsible for:
• Reviewing the information you enter
• Maintaining backups of important data
• Protecting access to your device
The developer cannot recover data that has been deleted, lost due to device failure, removed during app deletion, or lost because of circumstances outside the developer's control.
5. ACCURACY OF INFORMATION
Balance is primarily a manual-entry financial tracking tool.
The information displayed by the app is based on the information you provide.
While every effort is made to ensure the app functions correctly, the developer cannot guarantee that calculations, reports, forecasts, summaries, or analytics will always be free from errors.
You should independently verify important financial information before making significant decisions.
6. FREE AND PREMIUM FEATURES
Balance offers a free version that may include certain limitations.
Optional premium features may be available through Apple's In-App Purchase system.
Payments are processed entirely by Apple. The developer does not receive or store your payment information.
Prices, features, and available plans may change in future versions of the app.
7. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
Balance, including its design, branding, code, graphics, content, and functionality, is the property of the developer and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
You may not copy, redistribute, modify, reverse engineer, decompile, or otherwise attempt to reproduce any part of the app except where permitted by law.
8. APP AVAILABILITY
The developer works to keep Balance functioning reliably, but uninterrupted availability cannot be guaranteed.
Features may be added, improved, modified, or removed as the app evolves.
9. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Balance is provided "as is" and "as available."
The developer shall not be responsible for losses resulting from:
• Incorrect data entry
• Financial decisions made using app information
• Device failure or data loss
• App deletion or loss of device access
• Service interruptions
10. CHILDREN
Balance is not intended for children under the minimum age required by applicable law in their jurisdiction.
11. CHANGES TO THE APP OR TERMS
These Terms may be updated as the app evolves. Continued use of the app after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
12. GOVERNING LAW
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in the developer's jurisdiction.
13. Apple Standard End User License Agreement (EULA):
Your use of Balance is also subject to Apple’s Standard End User License Agreement:
