I built Balance because I couldn't find a money tracker that felt simple.

Balance asks for one thing:
write down what comes in and what goes out.
That's the whole job. Everything else, your net worth over time, where your spending goes, your budgets, your trends, your progress toward being financially free, Balance works out from those entries alone. You feed it life, and it hands back understanding. And it never pretends. If a number can't be worked out from real data, Balance shows you nothing instead of something that only looks right. A blank is more honest than a lie shaped like a number.
